Lyceum-Northwestern University College of Nursing held its 55th Capping, Pinning, and Candle Lighting Ceremony today at the CSI Stadia, celebrating a significant milestone in the journey of hundreds of BS Nursing Level 2 students.
Joined by their proud parents and loved ones, the students received their caps, pins, and candlesโsymbols of their commitment, compassion, and responsibility as future healthcare professionals.
The ceremony was graced by L-NU university officials, administrators, faculty members, and staff, including Dr. Marco Francisco S. Duque, Executive Vice President; Dr. Rodney Odesson P. Raguindin, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Eugene M. Reyes, Vice President for Student Affairs and Alumni Relations; Dr. Cresencio S. Quinto Jr., Program Head of the College of Nursing; and Ms. Pamela Florencia Duque-Villaflor, HR Manager, whose continued dedication supports the development of competent and compassionate Lycean nurses. The event also featured Ms. Kathleen Odeth Raguindin-De Vera, Area Nurse Manager for Surgery & NICU, RIMC Dagupan City, as the guest speaker.
The milestone marks another meaningful chapter in the studentsโ journey toward the nursing profession, carrying with them the values of Excellence, Professionalism, Integrity, Creativity, and Spirituality (EPICS).
