𝗟-𝗡𝗨 𝗗𝘂𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿’𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲

Lyceum-Northwestern University celebrates a major triumph on the hardcourt as four members of the L-NU Dukes varsity basketball team helped lead the Municipality of Calasiao to victory in the Inter-Town Basketball Tournament under The Commissioners Governor’s Cup, spearheaded by Pangasinan Governor Hon. Ramon V. Guico III.

Out of 48 participating LGUs, Calasiao emerged as champions in the finals held on April 27, 2026, at the Calasiao Sports Complex—highlighting the strength and competitive spirit of Lycean athletes.

Leading the charge was Ryan Jay Untalan, who earned Finals MVP honors and a spot in the 2nd Mythical Team, alongside Rhalph Jeulo Arizabal, who secured a place in the 1st Mythical Team. Also contributing to the championship victory were Lee Edrick Aguilar and Christian Lee Abel.

This victory underscores L-NU’s commitment to excellence not only in academics but also in athletics—producing champions who bring pride to their communities.
