PUBLIC ADVISORY | FLOODING SITUATIONM

In view of the continuing flooding and unsafe road conditions in Dagupan City and nearby areas, Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) will implement flexible arrangements to prioritize the safety and welfare of our students and employees while ensuring continuity of learning and essential services.

📌 PRELIMINARY EXAMINATIONS
The Preliminary Examinations scheduled for September 1–2, 2026 are POSTPONED. A new examination schedule will be announced soon.

📝 FLEXIBLE EXAMINATION MODALITIES
Depending on conditions, alternative examination arrangements may be implemented, including online, digitized offline, printed modular, or other appropriate modalities.

👩‍🏫 FACULTY MEMBERS
Faculty members who cannot safely report to campus may be allowed to work from home and conduct classes through flexible learning, subject to monitoring by their respective Deans, Heads, and supervisors.

🏠 NON-TEACHING PERSONNEL
Employees whose duties can be performed remotely may be allowed to work from home, subject to approval. Personnel assigned to essential campus operations may report onsite when conditions are safe.

💙 FLEXIBILITY FOR AFFECTED STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES
Reasonable consideration will be given to those affected by flooding, transportation difficulties, power interruptions, connectivity issues, and other related circumstances.

💻 ONLINE STUDENT SERVICES
Students are encouraged to utilize available online and remote services, including online payment facilities, student support services, and the Virtual Support Desk, whenever possible.

Everyone is reminded to prioritize personal safety and avoid unnecessary travel during the flooding situation.
