LYCEAN NEWS | L-NU LIGHTS UP IN PINK FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) joined the PCS–Inner Wheel “Nagkakaisa sa Pagsugpo ng Kanser” Pink Lighting Ceremony yesterday, illuminating the facade of the University in pink as a symbol of awareness, solidarity, and hope.
The initiative was spearheaded by Ms. Pamela Florencia Duque-Villaflor, MSHRM, Manager of the Human Resource Department, together with L-NU employees who came together to support the advocacy and help raise awareness on breast cancer prevention and early detection.
Through this meaningful gesture, L-NU stands with individuals, families, healthcare professionals, and organizations working together in the fight against cancer and encourages the Lycean community to remain informed, proactive, and supportive.
The pink illumination serves as a reminder that awareness can inspire action, early detection can make a difference, and no one should face the journey alone.
L-NU — lighting the way for awareness, hope, and a healthier community.
