L-NU RESEARCHERS JOIN REGION 1 Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) SYMPOSIUM

L-NU researchers showcase their research outputs and strengthen collaboration to advance knowledge, innovation, and regional development.

Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) RESEARCHERS are participating in the 4th Region 1 Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Symposium, hosted by the SILLAG Region 1 Startup Consortium on October 14–16, 2026, at WCC Aeronautical and Technological College (WCC ATC) in Binalonan, Pangasinan. The University’s participation is spearheaded by Dr. Cynthia P. Lopez, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Extension, and Management. Joining her are Mr. Francis Ivan Bolleser, Mr. Bryan Mislang, Engr. Febrey Lamsen, Mr. Clairole Sahm Ferrer, Mr. Rj Xander Candinato, Mr. Danilo Earl John Sison, Mr. Jhann Erict Tinaza, Mr. Cristian Cabungan, Mr. Michael Rhey Orines, and Ms. Susan Joie Balagot.

The symposium brings together researchers, innovators, startups, academic institutions, government agencies, industry stakeholders, and partner organizations from the four Region 1 RDI consortia: ICIEERD, ILAARRDEC, R1HRDC, and SILLAG. The gathering serves as a platform to showcase research and innovation initiatives, exchange knowledge and expertise, and foster meaningful partnerships that advance regional development.

Through its participation, L-NU continues to strengthen its research culture, promote the exchange of ideas, and contribute to collaborative efforts that transform research into meaningful applications for communities and society.
