𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗟-𝗡𝗨 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗧 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

In preparation for another year of excellence in teaching and learning, the Lyceum-Northwestern University Basic Education Department successfully conducted its In-Service Training (INSET) and General Assembly for all Basic Education teachers on May 25–26 and June 9, 2026 at L-NU.

The activity served as a platform for professional growth, collaboration, and alignment of academic goals, ensuring that Lycean educators remain equipped to deliver quality, values-based, and future-ready education.

The program was facilitated by the Basic Education principals:
Dr. Marilou E. Cayabyab – OIC Principal, Senior High School
Mdm. Ma. Grace O. Mencio – Principal, Junior High School
Mr. Joel T. Cerezo – Principal, Creative Montessori Center

The participants also gained valuable insights from distinguished speakers:

* Dr. Rodney Odesson P. Raguindin – Vice President for Academic Affairs, together with Ms. Jesiele May V. De Leon, CCIPD Coordinator, who shared valuable perspectives on academic quality, instructional innovation, and continuous institutional improvement.

* Mr. Marcelino G. Santiago – Director, Human Resource Department, together with Ms. Ronayn M. Cerezo, HR Coordinator, who discussed professional growth, workplace excellence, and employee development initiatives.

The program was facilitated by Mr. Jeric S. Guinipaan, who served as the Master of Ceremonies, guiding the event and fostering meaningful engagement among participants.

As L-NU prepares for the opening of classes, this initiative reaffirms the University’s commitment to empowering educators, strengthening instructional excellence, and nurturing future-ready learners.
