Objectives
The IRCAMS aims to provide avenue for practitioners, researchers, academics as well as students in the
field of medical and health allied sciences for intellectual, academic and interdisciplinary exchanges to
keep abreast with current issues, innovations, and trends in their fields of specialization. It gives
opportunity to the participants to build networks and linkages with other researchers around the world and
opportunity to publish their research outputs.

Abstract and Paper Guidelines
ABSTRACT
Document Format: Use Microsoft Word 2003 to 2010. Do not submit an abstract or paper in pdf format.
Font Type and Size: Times New Roman, 12 point.
The Title: Use Times New Roman, 12 point, boldfaced, double-spaced for the research/article title, with a capital letter for the first letter of all proper nouns. The title should not include abbreviations, except for terms that are popularly known based on its abbreviations (e.g. HIV, AIDS, SWOT). Margins are left and right justified.
Authors’ names: Authors are encouraged to identify the primary author/s based on the level and weight of contribution during the conduct and writing of the research. The authors’ first name/s is to be indicated
first, followed by the middle initial, surname, and suffix name (e.g. MD, PhD) if any. Titles (e.g. Dr., Engr., Atty.) are not to be indicated. An asterisk (*) follows the name of the paper presenter in the conference. See template below.
The abstract itself should not exceed 250 words. Recent papers are more desirable. However, all papers written in the past five (5) years can be presented at the conference. Authors must notify the organizers if the paper has been presented in other conferences or published in journals.
All abstracts must be submitted on or before October 30, 2019 for screening and approval for presentation during the conference. Indicate at the bottom of the page whether the paper is for oral or poster presentation. An official communication will be sent to the author(s) of the papers which have been
approved for presentation.
All abstracts will be published in a hardcopy and online book of abstract with ISBN. Selected papers will be published in the L-NU Multidiscipline Research Journal (L-NUMRE).
Multiple submissions by the same authors or co-authors are allowed depending on availability of time/space and provided that the paper presenter is different for each paper. The Conference Organizer reserves the right to limit multiple submissions.

ABSTRACT
Rationale: Discuss the background and justification of the study. Do not include any reference citation in
the abstract.
Methods: Give a short account of the most important methods used in your study. Use figures for numbers and abbreviations for standard units of measurement (e.g. 5 ml/L, 10 cm3)
Results: Present the main and significant results reported in the paper.
Conclusions: Briefly present the conclusions and importance of the results. Concisely summarize the study’s implications to theory and practice.
Keywords: Write 3-5 keywords relevant to the research paper. They should be arranged alphabetically and separated by a comma without a full stop at the end of the last keyword.

Full paper submission is optional. Interested authors may submit their manuscripts for publication or selected papers will be invited for publication in the Lyceum-Northwestern University Multidiscipline Research Journal (L-NUMRE). The paper should include an abstract, rationale, objectives, methodology, discussion/interpretation, conclusions, implications to policy/practice, and recommendations. It is recommended that the manuscript be limited to not more than 8,000 words (excluding references and necessary supplementary materials). The manuscript should be written in the following format:
