Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) proudly celebrates its recent approval as one of the Delivering Higher Education Institutions (DHEIs) for the Scholarships for Staff and Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP) of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

On September 4, 2025, representatives of L-NU joined the MOA Signing Ceremony between CHED and DHEIs, a milestone event for advancing graduate education in the region. Representing the University President, Dr. Luz T. Duque-Hammershaimb, was Dr. Rodney Odesson Raguindin, Officer-in-Charge for the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA). He was accompanied by Dr. Nenita Cuison, University Internal Auditor, and Ms. Ronna Lissa Fernandez, Student Affairs and Services staff.

A Prestigious Milestone

L-NU stands tall as one of only three private higher education institutions in Region 1 approved under the CHED SIKAP initiative—and the only HEI in Dagupan City. This recognition reinforces the university’s reputation as an autonomous university committed to professional advancement, educational excellence, and nation-building.

By being a DHEI, L-NU is now empowered to deliver CHED-supported graduate education to qualified HEI faculty and staff, providing opportunities for advanced learning without leaving the region.

Through the CHED-SIKAP Program, L-NU proudly offers the following graduate programs:
