L-NU College of Dentistry Participates in R1HRDC Regional Research Conference 2026
Under the Professional Category (Non-Competing), the study entitled “DentAlign: An Innovative Ergonomic Dental Chair Design for Posture Optimization” was presented by Dr. Ma. Theresa Fernandez through the conference’s poster exhibit. Similarly, under the Student Category (Non-Competing), the study entitled “Blueberry (Vaccinium myrtoides (Blume) Miq.) Fruit Extract as a Dental Plaque Disclosing Solution” was presented by Ms. Tzaitel Banal. Through these presentations, the conference served as a valuable platform for disseminating research findings and exchanging knowledge among researchers, health professionals, and academic institutions in the region.
With the theme, “Harnessing Ethical AI for Relevant and Impactful Health Research,” the conference highlighted the role of ethical and innovative technologies in advancing health research. The College’s participation reflects its commitment to fostering a culture of research, aligned with the university’s pursuit of excellence in research and innovation.
