L-NU Receives CHED-Noted Enhanced Doctor of Medicine Curriculum: A Stronger Future for Medical Education
Lyceum-Northwestern University proudly announces the successful content-noting of its enhanced and revised Doctor of Medicine curriculum by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). This achievement reflects the universityβs unwavering commitment to elevating medical education and preparing future physicians who are competent, compassionate, and ready to serve.
Driven by visionary leadership, the curriculum enhancement was spearheaded by Dr. Rodney Odesson R. Raguindin, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Head of the Center for Curriculum Innovation and Professional Development (CCIPD); Dr. Marco Francisco Duque, Executive Vice President and Assistant Dean of the College of Medicine; Dr. Agnes Dimaano, OIC-Dean of the College of Medicine; and Dr. Perfecto Soriano, Chairman of the Curriculum Development Committee. The revised curriculum introduces key improvementsβincluding the integration of enhancement courses and strengthened program outcomesβdesigned to support stronger board performance and ensure high-quality clinical preparation for L-NU graduates.
L-NU also extends heartfelt commendation to Ms. Jesiele De Leon, CCIPD Coordinator, and to the College of Medicine Curriculum Revision and Enhancement Committee, whose dedication, expertise, and teamwork ensured that the curriculum meets CHED standards and aligns with global healthcare demands.
