Lycean nursing students showcase their knowledge and academic excellence during Nurses’ Week 2026.

The Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) College of Nursing secured 2nd Place in the NurseQuest: Exploring Knowledge, Inspiring Excellence Quiz Bee, organized by the Region 1 Medical Center (R1MC) on October 30, 2026, at The Odeum, R1MC.

Held in celebration of Nurses’ Week 2026, with the theme “Filipino Nurses Shaping the Health of the Nation Through Collective Action,” the competition brought together nursing students to demonstrate their knowledge and competencies.

Representing L-NU were Myra Guillermo (Level 1), Janzen Gragasin (Level 2), Rad Jaycob Juliano (Level 3), and Encourage Gunita (Level 4), coached by Dr. Rodney Odesson P. Raguindin, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College of Nursing; Dr. Cresencio Quinto Jr., Associate Dean of the College of Nursing; and Dr. Hilda Cruz, a faculty member.

L-NU congratulates the students and their coaches on this achievement, reflecting the College of Nursing’s continued commitment to academic excellence and the development of competent, compassionate, and future-ready nursing professionals.
