Lycean Nursing Student Wins International Title in Malaysia

𝗟𝘆𝗰𝗲𝘂𝗺-𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of 𝗠𝗿. 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼 𝗦. 𝗗𝘂𝗰𝘂𝘁, a Nursing student and alumnus of the L-NU Senior High School Department, who was crowned 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗿. 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 competition held in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, from July 29 to August 2, 2026.

Representing the Philippines, Mr. Dean Ducut captivated the international stage with his confidence, intelligence, and advocacy, earning not only the coveted title but also the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲’𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, and 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱—a remarkable testament to his outstanding performance throughout the competition.

His award-winning “𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗮” national costume beautifully paid tribute to the resilience and heritage of Filipino fisherfolk, proudly showcasing the richness of Philippine culture to the world.
