OVPAA ADVISORY | REITERATION OF FLEXIBLE ASSESSMENT PRINCIPLES

As we continue the administration of our Preliminary Examinations through flexible learning and assessment, we sincerely thank everyone for your patience, cooperation, and understanding.

As emphasized in OVPAA Memorandum No. 27, Series of 2026 issued last September 6, 2026, flexible learning must remain accessible, equitable, responsive, inclusive, learner-centered, and academically meaningful. Faculty members are encouraged to provide reasonable accommodations, flexible deadlines, and alternative assessment arrangements when warranted, while maintaining academic integrity and standards.

Most importantly, no student should be unfairly disadvantaged because of circumstances beyond their control. We remain mindful that some students may still be affected by flooding, transportation difficulties, power interruptions, connectivity concerns, and other challenges.

At L-NU, learning must continue—but it must continue with care, fairness, flexibility, and compassion.
For concerns regarding the implementation of flexible learning and assessment, students and faculty members may join the OVPAA Virtual Support Desk.

We are here to listen and assist.

God bless everyone, and please stay safe.
