Today, Lyceum-Northwestern University proudly honors the birthday of our esteemed University President, Dr. Luz T. Duque-Hammershaimb—a visionary leader whose legacy continues to define excellence, innovation, and global relevance at L-NU.

Under her leadership, L-NU advanced its pursuit of excellence through PACUCOA, PAASCU, and ISO accreditations, earned recognition from the Department of Education as a Model Institution for ISO Certification, strengthened international partnerships, and achieved CHED Autonomous Status in 2019—earlier than targeted.

Her leadership journey continues to shape globally competitive, values-driven Lyceans and to strengthen the University’s enduring legacy of excellence.
